This should probably go to the Unpopular Opinion thread: I have a soft spot for Blodney. I like characters in Skateboarding and he definitely is one. I even thought his YouTube sitcom (?) was pretty decent. Looking forward to this one.
yeah he's cool, great character in skating. Glad they asked (and he answered) about him leaving palace.

Yeah that was one of the better episodes for sure. Great stories and one of the best rapid fires.  Last dude you want on the sesh was legendary

Ouf, Blondey getting high off his own voice again but that was expected. Still, I can appreciate his candor which made for a good episode.

Maybe it's cause I skipped straight to the rapid fire (I often do this if I'm not particularly interested in the guest) but I'm actually finding this dude annoying as shit. I'd rather watch Nikolai talk than this guy

Rapid fire on strobeck was funny

So glad I chose this to be the first episode I watched the video of, purely for their reaction to that one

That was fantastic. Artistic ego aside, he was easily the most articulate guest they’ve had and I found him to be a genuinely entertaining and sympathetic character. Also, his defense for leaving Palace felt particularly valid, not only for supporting his mates but trashing the assholes who run it. From a creative and artistic standpoint, Blodney is one of my favorite skate personalities in the game. Hopping on Thames now and considering purchasing overpriced product.

Edit: nevermind. Not purchasing product. But he does get a follow and I’m smashing that like button.

You don't think? I can't see any other reason why he would choose Thames over Limo in that case, unless Blondey threw the bag at him that he couldn't refuse (which i hope is true)

This motherfucker can't just answer a question, he just HAS to ramble. Donovan looked like he was about to fall asleep. There was nothing rapid about that fire, when he started talking about chicken soup during the "favorite teammate" question I was long since checked out. Fuck's sake.

I liked the parts I listened to. Cool to hear the Palace story and cool to hear him elaborate on his answers and try to share his thinking instead of other podcasts where people can struggle to put things together, either out of nerves, not really wanting to be there, or not wanting to upset people.

I didn’t mind this guy at all. He seemed like a true fan of skating and the history. I watched some Thames videos after and the squad looks like some weird 80s band. I’m down for it

Liked this ep way more than I thought I would.  Heaven forbid we get rambling on a podcast.  I’ll take a long winded answer all day vs people who have nothing to say….as usual though it’s kept on the rails.  Christ he calls out Edgelord and Strobek, what more do you want?

I had the randoms skater of the week at Avers….Lee Matasi RIP….still think of that guy all the time.

Great episode. He sounds a bit pretentious but that's just what poms are like. I was howling when he talked about Strobeck
