Did I miss something, or did PRod sell Primitive or something? During the Post Office (around 2:06:40), when talking about skater owned board brands indirectly funded by Nike checks, Dono says “Paul had Primitive”
Caught that too. There is a rumour going on that Primitive is out of business.

The Brophy Ep was the most I’ve audibly laughed at anything in a while. Instant fan.

It’s refreshing to hear someone who is a fringe industry guy that has a regular job, a family, and isn’t trying to dick ride one level above where they’re actually at.

I can see it. Easier to listen to, though.

Random skater of the week was brutal - not sure which was worse, drunk Jake or the fact that it took them so long to guess. Surprised the bushing wasn’t used as a clue.

This has to be up there the best season yet, huh? Three back-to-back bangers, all unexpected.

I low key feel bad for Jeremy. He was obviously a top guy in the the late 90s and early 2000's and was doing otherworldly stuff that people couldn't touch, but it seems like he was always kind of a dork. I feel like him sticking with Plan B with Colin and Danny to the end should have been reason enough for them to pick him up for the new Plan B tho, specially after they got Duffy and Sheffey involved. I'd like to hear why Danny and Colin felt like they were too cool to add Jeremy on.

but it seems like he was always kind of a dork

what you call dorky is what actually always made him seem genuine/cool/why he has stood out to me. well that and having amazing floated ollies, front 3s, fs flips, etc. >>> to each yr own… he seems like an outsider

also always a relief to listen to someone that isn’t fried talk lol. the bar is set so low

He actually came off rather fried, imo, pretty on par with what you'd expect from someone who spent their life dedicated to skateboarding.

like I said, the bar is set low. I think hearing about appleyard using t shirts to wipe shit out of his ass and leave them on the floor in his bathroom to save money really lowered the already low bar for professional skaters for me lol

What is the Etiwanda Quadruple set?

Man, I remember Destructo shirts were very popular at my junior high.   Kinda hadn’t thought about them in like 20 years

He is talking about Kris Markovich. Kris left Jeremy in hotel when first Wallenberg contest was held (early 90's). Kris came very close to kickfliping it, footage was in early 411.
Jeremy is super nice guy and didn't want to trow Markovich under the bus, said that he is still friends with Kris.

maybe not my favourite ep, but it was still really good.  JWray always remembers his stories really well, I actually think his nine club is maybe one of the best ones ever.

I haven't listened to the Joey O'brien ep yet but it's been a really good season so far. I particularly enjoyed the Blondey and Ryan Allen episodes.

Nah dude is tripping, that was a good episode.

It’s crazy that he worked construction full time while filming at level to get the pro bump.
