Man I love Gravette so much. What a treasure.

The flight attendant story is bizarre, I've dated a US flight attendant and this is definitely her risking her job (and she probably did lose it). They're not nearly as protected as police and airlines do not look kindly on them making the co.pany look bad. To do what she did in first class is basically suicide. I can only imagine Gravette looking rather dirtbaggish and - not sure if AA roll like that - on many airlines the first class attendants have a certain elitism instilled into them and are often ex-models or such (like my ex). Or maybe he looked exactly like someone who had hurt her?

Also fuck Taylor Kirby. Used to be hyped on him but going after Gravette is unforgivable.

Gravette is one of a kind, true legend, yet probably also a pain to travel with in his early years.

I swear I have seen a clip of him ages ago where he tried to wallride (?) some spot under a bridge and he threw the craziest tantrum. I loved that clip but can see why others might be thrown off.

That cougar story was insane. Loved his take on not being the top predator for a moment.

Wish they had asked a few mor skate-related question like they usually do. Battling specific tricks, more behind the scenes on the worst skatepark stuff, etc

I’m a huge Gravette fan but you wonder what the other side of the story was for the whole American Airlines fiasco

Man, you guys have some wild ass airlines stories lol. I actually had the opposite - I'm short and babyfaced (if I shave cleanly), so the attendant literally asked me where my parents where, and I was like "I'm almost 30". She was like "that's nice sweetie”,and walked off at max pace.

Gravette has a Spiccoli vibe, seems like a good guy with the kind of energy that attracts mayhem. I loved his worst skateparks series.

This made me like Gravette more, but the dude definitely would have been a pain in the ass to travel with. His notorious meltdowns have been documented for a while now. That kind of behavior is more than enough to turn someone off completely.

I'm a fan of Arto's photography. I watched his 9 club and he was kind of full of himself. Still going to watch this, good guest to end the season with.

One of my first pair of real skate shoes. Had the royal blue/white colorway and wish I hadn't been a dumb kid and blamed my shoes for my lack of ability back then.

I had the yellow and white leather ones, because they were mad cheap in the skateshop. Skated great, and from what I can remember, they were tanks, lasted a long time.

Had the all black suede ones... like pillows on your feet from what i remember. Great shoe. His ES shoe on the other hand...could not break them in for the life of me.

Blaming super thick, chunky skate shoes when you're a grom is way more respectable than being an adult and blaming your bushing combo or 1mm of truck height.

Didn't Arto ride for Rusty? That's a brand I'd regret riding for.

Didn’t watch his nine club but he certainly doesn’t come across that way in this.
