Donno:
“Dude, I mean, you don't really go on the message boards anymore, especially Slap. But the shit that these guys think is going on with us these days is insane, man. Like they think we've completely switched up from who we once were, won't talk shit about anyone because we have too many friends in the industry or too connected.
There's layers to the thought process of these guys now. And obviously, you know, doing this shit for nine years, you make a lot of friends along the way. But much less connected than people think.”
“As a 20 year old, it's a lot easier to talk shit than to not give a flying fuck. Now, when you don't know anyone, and now I'm going, you know, we're different, we see everyone, which is a big thing as well. We have these events that we want people to come to.
We have these trips we want people to come on. If we would have gone through and burned every bridge on the way to where we are, we wouldn't be able to do these things.”
It’s fine to just admit you guys are too connected to speak freely anymore. It’d be more respectable if you just said that instead of trying to play both sides of the fence. This obvious contradiction just comes across as disingenuous. You want all the top pros and big shots to come to your events & therefore you guys have calmed way down on the shit talk that drew many of us to your show, keep it a buck.
