Saw a video of Spencer Nuzzi setup this board up and he had a lot of good things to say. Shape looks great.

Shape looks similar to the 8.125 they do, which GX and WKND also run. One of my favorite shapes.

How steep is the tail of the 8.25 proto? And how long?
Im looking for something similar to 8.25 alien workshop. Or Pizza Decks.

The tail is much shorter on the proto, especially compared to the workshop.  Sub 6.5 if I recall correctly.  The nose is also steeper on the proto, and the overall length is a good bit shorter.  I could never get used to the tail on it.

Ah thx a lot. Yeah I skated a proto some time ago, and it was crazy. I couldn’t find out what bothered me and I broke it after 10 days or so.
Probably because of tail it was that strange.

Anything you would recommend me instead what comes closer?
I skated girl go27, was cool, but the concave was too flat for me.

Tough call, because Alien 8.25 tends to be a little longer than most other comapnies.  If you like this, just go with another Alien.  You may want to check out Strangelove.  They have a bunch of different specs, but some look a little longer like what Alien uses.  Not sure how the shapes are - I have never had one.

Never the b2, just the standard shape.  You might want to try a Reall full se if you can find one.  It has the squarish nose and tail.

The Proto is quite flat and a super unique shape. It tapers significantly near the back. I can't say I've ever had anything like it and I kinda wanna ride one again.

Have you looked at the Black Label 8.25 decks?
They are a bit over 32" length and I think a 6.75 tail. Overall a nice shape if you want something a bit longer than most 8.25 decks.

* Edit

I found a link with the actual specs of the 8.25 deck. Measured my old Label deck and those specs seem accurate.

Good guy, buying from his local.
I hated my quasi 8.75 ps board. Nose was stupid steep. Tail was perfect though. Euro Fade 8.75.

Having said this, i want to try some of their smaller boards.

Replacement deck came in quick!
They were out of the graphic I originally bought so they sent a different one with the same dims. Not my choice of graphics but sending a sheet of grip is a plus. Stoked that this one has colored plys.

PSA: If you're ordering a Quasi board off Skate Warehouse, don't trust the description when it comes to which woodshop was used. They have a few PS boards labeled as BBS. If you click on the picture and zoom in, it's pretty easy to tell if it's PS or BBS.

Edit: Minutes after I posted this I received the email and they’re replacing it. So if anyone else is wondering they’re warranty department is awesome!

I had a quasi deck delam on me after only two weeks of use so I emailed them and they too sent a replacement for free… even got to pick out a different deck.

Good dudes over there. It just seems their decks aren’t the best.

Curious, were they PS pressed? I take every chance to shit on PS. I know they have legions of people that love em and I need them to admit they have been gaslighting everyone.

Nikolai Piombo on his 9 club mentioned WKND switching to BBS recently and he said he instantly noticeably skated way better on them.

Anyone have any luck with Quasi warranty department? I have a delam on day 3

Maybe pick a more meaningful mission and just let people enjoy what they want. Not need to live with that kind of anger.
