Got one from Note in Manchester,

It’s strange getting use to the longer tail, but it’s easier then getting use to a shorter nose.

Got out on in today, had a lot of fun with it. Skates really well for me.

I want to say that it’s the same and I’m 8.25 with a 14 inch wheel base. Stood on both at a shop but wanted something smaller at the time. I’ve been enjoying it on the few sessions I’ve have had it set up

I got it thinking it was the old 8.5/14.25 and honestly, it's weird. So far I've had 3 BBS Quasi shapes and they've all sucked. The noses are tiny, almost tails. The 8.5 has a normal nose but the short wheelbase feels weird it's like there is zero leverage. I know a few of their team skate Ventures and maybe want this WB, but in combo with the kicks it's weird compared to what Quasi used to put out. I used to ride the 8.5, 8.38, and 8.5 Proto a lot and now I can't stand em.

Ok

shit i wanted to get this, looked fun.

i’ve got the 8.25 14 wb mentioned above and i quite like it. and this is coming from someone that use to reeeeeeally like the ps boards. i so infrequently skate, that the fact that the board was new and the sub was shining most likely weighed heavily

I definitely agree with you on these Quasi boards - had a stand on half a dozen in another shop not too long ago and none of them really look and feel "normal" often with what feels like different concaves, or holes drilled that didn't really match up to the mold or board shapes.

A friend got one so steep he couldn't skate it, so I tried every option on it, both drilled in baseplates, regular trucks, even flattened it and it still felt uncomfortable to skate, but watching the team on them, small boards, extreme pop for maximum height (Gilbert especially) I can see why they like them like that.

I guess from having a few of the older boards come through my hands, which didn't feel so bad or extreme, something might be going on with them, or who knows what, but the Dylan twin is a very regular concave and shape, apart from the short wheelbase, but seems like the only one on that mold, from the spec sheet info.

* Reposting this one that was from a couple of pages back.  The kicks, especially the noses are very short on some of those shapes.

I snapped and bought one from the homies shop Prolific in NJ, since the local does not carry quasi... will post when I get it if someone else hasn't already... IMAGINE TWINNING

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.
