His shoe is coming out in June fool!

You think State is going to pay Uncle Freddy enough to not have to work his contracting job?
When’s the last time you saw somebody wearing State Shoes in the wild?
Fred could use
A corporate shoe sponsor check...

I like asics. I have used their running shoes for years and have had the same pair of onitsuka tigers for six years. The shoes have always been great quality. I would definitely skate a fatter version of onitsuka tigers.

I just realized they have alot of different models under their sub brand onitsuka tiger. Many of them look like they would make great skate shoes. That is the model I that I have had for six years:
https://www.mein-deal.com/asics-onitsuka-tiger-fade/

These models would all be great for skateshoes:

They remind me of a crossover NikeSB Tre AD with the Adidas Adimatic (obscure skateboarding shoe from the 90’s).

I kinda dig them, or at least find them interesting. Too many companies doing the same shoe over and over. I bet they’ll do something more safe in the long run, but if you don’t start with something different no one notices.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feature_creep

Quote

Feature creep is the excessive ongoing expansion or addition of new features in a product, especially in computer software, videogames and consumer and business electronics. These extra features go beyond the basic function of the product and can result in software bloat and over-complication, rather than simple design.

The most common cause of feature creep is the desire to provide the consumer with a more useful or desirable product, in order to increase sales or distribution. However, once the product reaches the point at which it does everything that it is designed to do, the manufacturer is left with the choice of adding functions some users might consider unneeded, sometimes at the cost of efficiency, or sticking with the old version, at the cost of a perceived lack of improvement.

Another major cause of feature creep might be a compromise from a committee which decides to implement multiple, different viewpoints or use cases in the same product. Then, as more features are added to support each approach, it might be necessary to have cross-conversion features between the multiple paradigms, further complicating the total features.

first thought was very similar, zoom tre crossed with first Mark Gonzales pro model. I guess all the big shoe companies have similar marketing and design structures and so tend to repeat each other's patterns (mistakes)?
Asics north american program should consist of giving Matt Town some ads.

Quoted from the Non Skate Shoes Good for Skating thread:

He might have said that but his shoe is almost an exact copy of the Asics Top Seven, which was mentioned in this thread earlier.

It's even got that little notch at the back of the heel and the logo on the sole in the same place.

Not surprisingly that may be one of the only good shoes Osiris ever made.

I actually saw those plain white leather ASICS at the outlet downtown and almost got them to skate in, but wasn’t sure I wanted to jump back to skating in low tops.

These would be the move:

Unlike converse skate in japan (which, by the way, isn’t affiliated with Nike like
Converse SB is), these guys look like they did absolutely no homework when it comes to their brand’s history/ heritage.

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Wasn't Takahiro Morita on Asics for a bit, sometime during the last decade? I don't think Asics (low-key) considering skateboarding in Japan is especially new, unless all these times I've seen Japanese skaters wear them in videos before would mean the dudes would have gone out of their way to purchase them on their own accord for some reason. An official skate line has to be new, though, but I'm not exactly surprised.

Yea he was
