Is it just me or did that end up being PJ Ladd interviews the Nine Club rather than the other way around?
Seems like PJ was genuinely curious though. "Did you guys skate to the sand gaps? How often did you guys go to SF? Where did Mike York live?"
Maybe he should have gotten on Girl, seems like he's very interested in what they were doing around that time.

These guys do not have the toolkit or ability to interview anybody outside of similarly-positioned high school drop-outs whose entire lived experience is only skateboarding. Crob can barely hold a conversation with another skater that has a fulltime job.

Replacing Rog with Jeron and booting Eldy off the live show is when it went downhill imo. Even though Rog is kind of an introverted curmudgeon at least he actually knows the history of skating, Jeron is too stoned to care or be interested. Crob's whole schtick gets tiresome and it's sad because when he's more off the cuff he's actually semi-entertaining, he just doesn't have the charisma to play the role he gave himself. I don't mind Kelly as the hype man/fan boy, his enthusiasm is endearing even if he sounds like a SoCal frat boy. They should have kept Eldy and made the 5th spot a revolving door of regulars like Jeron/Mike York/Daniel Castillo/Vincent Alvarez/Returning guests. Someone else said earlier in the thread but I think they're better off doing a season format for the main show and every other week for the live show.

Eldridge is cooked...he was either too drunk or on pain meds, and would make no sense...not to forget the passive aggressiveness towards kelly for actually having on eS and getting pro models lol

I was a bit put off at the start of the PJ Ladd ep with the spiritual stuff but I really liked him by the end.

I like Jeron on the show. It's cool to have the chill homie around and I feel like guests respect him too.

Jeron is the best part of the nine club. He’s pretty fried but I just find that relatable

It will be cool if PJ goes elsewhere to talk in the future, at least one more occasion. Him getting into the specifics of a Paul Schmitt experience of board development and sticking to it be it a decade-ish later says a lot about him. Doubtful his offerings ever go above 8.5 in the future, but if so, I would cop to compare alongside a BBS standard offering.

That interview was pretty awkward to sit through as a viewer though. The unedited version would be entertaining just how many long-pauses they had to reel back in.

I respectfully disagree; it would be rather nice if he would start taking some things seriously.  Like, say… his role as host of a podcast? 
The smallest amount of (p)research into his guests would be a fine place to start.

I mean, if he wants to keep at this, these seem like pretty low bars to jump over & the quality of programming would prolly only benefit.

Not trying to give Kelly the benefit of the doubt too much because I never liked Kelly, but I saw the video and in that particular video he looks wasted and is slurring a bit. Nowhere in the video is he seen dropping the f word or calling the guy a bitch like he’s claiming while filming and chasing him, again not claiming it didn’t happen but it’s a he said she said situation. Brick posting it, again is another opportunistic chance to pre maturely hype up his agenda like he always does in his now private Instagram page, not a good look. Looking forward to this long awaited GH video and from what I hear, it’s gonna rip Brick a new asshole that he so rightfully deserves.

But yeah, it's a clip of some dude confronting Kelly, saying that Kelly called him some slurs. Kelly's obviously hammered and  trying to back away but the dude keeps following him and was getting more and more upset with his tone getting more threatening, then it appears the dude either punched him or shoved him, can't really tell because when it happens the camera shakes and doesn't record it. Was definitely discomforting to watch.

Yeah, Kelly obviously was shook and didn’t want any confrontation and kept denying saying the slurs, but judging by how angry the dude was and how the dude kept approaching Kelly even though Kelly was trying to back up it seems like something had to have occurred between them.
I tried the site you said but decided to just upload it onto YouTube as unlisted. Contemplating whether I should post the link, was thinking about it to those who were curious and wanted to see it and make their own analysis on the whole scenario, but then yeah you’re right, it’s a pretty embarrassing clip.
