The audacity of Roberts to criticize small companies when the nine club runs a fucking dropship operation from their website. The hypocrisy and arrogance is staggering.

I think they were discussing how it's a lot easier now than it's ever been before to be a pro skateboarder due to how low the minimum order is at wood shops compared to times gone by.
Don't think he was criticising small companies tbf, don't think nine club has turned anyone pro either.
Unless you mean something else.
Idk what you’re confused about. They want woodshops to require a higher minimum in order to make it harder for small brands to start up because they’re “taking space on the wall”
I didn't get the impression that they wanted that. It was a discussion, no?
Roberts even said that they wouldn't be able to sell boards themselves, if that was the case.
They’re complaining about woodshops making it harder on skateshops while dropshipping skate products from their website.
They’re complaining about people turning pro for small brands while holding onto their own pro status despite not actually skateboarding.
Hahaha, yeah, I guess Roberts probably shouldn't still have a pro board really. I suspect he'd probably agree that he falls into that category tho tbf. Probably does still shift some boards tho, considering the pod and all.
Guess companies see it mostly as a business. There's just more ways to sell skateboards than skating.
I still argue that they weren't really complaining tho, just discussing. They're not wrong either tbf. It is easier to be a "pro" if you go by what they were saying.
In Roberts defence, he's a pretty agreeable guy. Would it be good or bad if he was just arguing with ppl on the show?
I also don't really care as much as this convo is making it seem like I do, haha.
