personally i'm not a fan of when they do that especially if it's a guest who does have a lot to discuss. i can't remember exactly but i think it happened during the last tony hawk episode where there could've been other topics to discuss more related to the guest. they also brought up the 2028 olympics which is absolutely not noteworthy at this stage. can't remember if they watched other skaters clips during spanky, david loy, tom schaar and joslin episodes but i feel like they did for at least one of those. there was a ton more to talk about in relation to the actual person being interviewed, specifically david loy that would've been way more interesting. and someone like him was super open to chatting it seemed. i'm still wanting more from that episode months later. for someone like bam, who seems to have a photographic memory of every trick done at every spot, that's more up his alley even though he also has tons to discuss. or if someone isn't very forthcoming with info, that might be a good time to bring up other skaters. but when the convo is flowing and the guest is interesting, the last thing i want to hear is discussing how great a totally other skater that derails the depth of the actual guest.
