I don't get why people think every little god damn thing is some kind of conspiracy created by the fucking government. I work in local government and no one is anywhere NEAR smart enough to create some kind of "control" like this.

He's also wrong. Sure COVID-19 has a high survival rate FOR YOUNG ADULTS, but not for the older people and babies. For fucks sake you could KILL your own parents, grandparents and babies by harboring the virus you won't even know you have until you show symptoms.

Thank you. I keep trying to explain this to my coworkers and a few friends and it’s like they don’t grasp it. Some co workers are almost 60 where it would directly affect them. But they’re like “nah trump says it’s okay (now he declared a national emergency) so flu kills more. So this ain’t bad.” It’s ridiculous.

As my roommate said it’s like if world war 3 happened and people are being deployed and you saying more died in world war 2 so don’t worry about it.

In the interest of truth over conspiracy and misinformation ... which this thread seems to be about ... I’ll address some theories (ironic huh?) I just read about me.

No, I am not anti vax nor do I believe autism comes from vaccines. I believe in science and medicine. Even started college as an environmental science major, although I was too shit at math to get through all the classes I needed. Hence the switch to writing.

Although I am generally not a fan of panic and media hype and so on , I am also not much of a conspiracy theorist. Seems exhausting.

No, I did not self diagnose my ASD, it came from 2 therapists and still stands after a period of what is now close to a year of weekly sessions, which are helping tremendously, along with the Lexapro. Luckily I am a very mild case and life has improved dramatically since the meds and diagnosis. #blessed.

I only have 5 rolls of toilet paper in my house and no hand sanitizer or cleansing wipes. Maybe I’ll die. Shalom.

   But never quetioning "science and medicine" (pretty general, no?) Is fucking throwing the baby out with the bath water.  Edit jus saying. Also phych meds are not 'sober' i mean fill ur boots tho i dont care.

It’s not vague at all. I believe in both. But no belief has to be absolute and go without questioning, correct? I am pretty sure that goes without saying. From what I’ve heard children and babies haven’t been affected really, I’m not an expert by any means and I am sure I don’t know more than you, that said the elderly are at risk but I also don’t think what he’s saying is too out of line.
