the worst are the comments people are posting on the ABC message board. Everyone seems to think its ok for a cop to assault a minor because skateboarders are "bad", and that the kids are asking for handouts by pointing out the fact that there are no legal places to skate. Last I checked, kids didn't have to lobby the government to get baseball fields built, but when skateboarders ask for the same consideration they are being lazy. We're just supposed to not skate for the 3-5 years it takes to get a park built (if it gets built at all). I wonder how people would react if a video surfaced of a skateboarder beating the shit out of a cop?

we're not rebelling-we're straight up taking over! pdx has skaters withinin the mayors office and the park and rec director is an ex-skater... the park and rec department director of vancouver bc is a skater... as more skaters get into gov't positions, shit will start getting interesting.
