I saw them at coachella in '09 and they were loud and rambunctious as fuck. The main dude smashed his guitar mid-song during a noise freakout jam thing then plugged another one in and went back into the song. Not usually into the whole "smashing all our instruments for kicks" bit but I thought that was pretty funny. I believe the cure went on right after their set and I remember my ears were ringing the entire time.

If you guys like A Place to Bury Strangers you should also check out Skywave

Band from the '90s founded by the same guy, their music is pretty much identical.

Ive listened a shitload of music today, because I had a day off and outside, there is probably 50 cm of snow, so I dont have anything else to do. But Im gonna throw Rush there, I dont believe there can be a human that dislikes them.
