Mac Demarco mentioned in an interview I saw of him recently that this was his favorite song off the Aja album by Steely Dan so I looked it up and fell in love instantly. It's so goddamn smooth and soulful.

That's funny, hopefully a whole bunch of other people did the same cuz that song is awesome. MF also made good use of that song on Gas Drawls.

Moved in with my girl a month ago. Her metal collection kills mine. Listened to her copy of the Rivers Edge soundtrack and this is the first track.

I've been super stoked on Jerry Paper lately. Most his albums are free too.

Don't I know it. It's why I moved in with her!

Been more into psych-country era Lightfoot lately though. More doobies less speed.

I'll admit it, I'm into neo-cyberpunk/dystopian future aesthetics; basically shit that looks/sounds like Akira meets Blade Runner & Idiocracy.

This French guy Perturbator is like the fucking king of the aforementioned style of future-retro or whatever label is hot on the streets.

He did some stuff with Hotline Miami as well, in case you were wondering.  :P

paid some tribute to the King (January 8, 1935 ? August 16, 1977) in a drunken slumber last night. His transformation in this clip is simply amazing:

^Hell yeah, love Iceage.  That whole album is killer, and their new single The Lord's Favorite is an awesome twist.

Didin't know there was a new song, thanks !

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Same, even though I think s/t had some great moments, i'm glad they've gone back to the ethos of TOTBL or Antics.

and here's my token for posting in this thread..

It's a bit of an odd combo, but I've been listening to a lot of Moodymann and Neil Young lately

A bit of a cliche track but look at the energy being exuded from every corner of the stage . . .  :o  :o  :o

Really one of the pinnacles of performance art [Stop Making Sense] & everything a "concert" experience should encapsulate.
