wow I definitely agree about that performance and just the greatness of the talking heads in general. that performance of that song really nails it. stoked to see it getting love.

I'm cramming repeated listens to Spoon's They Want my Soul record (their most recent)[on Spotify] because i am seeing them tomorrow night and hadn't listened to it yet. So far I'm into the track "do you", and really the whole 3 track sequence of "inside out" > "rainy taxi" > "do you". it would be ideal if they played these together tomorrow. Really do not like "I just Don't Understand", quickly became a skipper.
I was really into this band a few years ago, but was somehow oblivious to their last two lp's until i found out recently that they were playing near me. I really do hope they play something from Girls Can Tell or Kill the Moonlight, those are the albums i like the best by them.

New Kevin Morby tracks are killer. Poppier than his Harlem River stuff for sure but still gold, can't wait for the full album.

New Justin Townes Earle though... sobriety and loving wife may be good for him, but this record zzzzzzzzzzz.

haha yeah, I have. i think i heard it from my curiosity which stemmed from ubiquitous arguments between phish and ween fans on a lot of Ween youtube videos. Rad that you're going to see them! i bet those shows are pretty fun. I'm not super super into phish personally but i enjoy some of their stuff and i think I would go see them.

this is so fucking great. whenever i remember its existence i get excited and usually listen immediately.
