I don’t mind Jack and the kid who backed them up on tour a few years ago. I want to say his name is Weebee or something. I can’t remember nor can I think of the band he’s in with his brother. I think they’re from Amherst good people good band.

Joe and Dave being a dick? no way?! I had the unfortunate opportunity to interview Joe and Ben Weasel in Atlanta 97ish.
My buddy and I had a zine called Funarchy and Rational Minority. The Queers and Riverdales were touring together and I had a micro tape recorder I had just hanging about as my notepad.
We talked about touring and other bands via labels and Lookout Records. The guys that weren't a dick were the rest of the other band. I don't know why that is but I guess it was my own expectation that sullied the idea they would be cool to talk shop with or just talk politics within the scene.
Joe has some weird views like Libertarian gun ownership BS it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth, Ben he just had this smug cool guy airs that made me feel uncomfortable, I think he caught wind of my reluctance when he started asking me about how I viewed the scene in general and I summed it up it is what it is and that's that.
I admit I was slightly star struck but when he cool guyed me, I was like oh I get it, I started to question his logic and reasoning kinda making slights and jabs at his music and Screeching Weasel.
