Has somebody skated to this? I feel like yes, but can't think of who.

I like the new Sun Kil Moon musically.

Lyrically, he's still largely doing that journal entry, stream-of-consciousness minutia style, that I find really tedious and annoying. Maybe less so than his last few releases though.

This whole soundtrack goes
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

Spanky in Bake and Destroy. Very beautiful song. Has been the lead track to the soundtrack of my life at many points.

Been listening to a lot of French music since I re-watched Jaime Les Filles.

Hell of a video.

Once I was alone I just laid on the futon listening to Leonard Cohen and thinking about the other girl I liked and missed.

This is the Hildur track I actually meant to post, off her first album. Without Sinking is great too though.

Good call. Oneohtrix Point Never used it as the opening track for a mix he put out on an online radio station, early on in quarantine. I knew I had heard it somewhere before, but couldn't remember where.

Shalom. Listening to TTA on NTS rn, it's great. I had heard the name but assumed it was something more like fucking Beirut.

Listened to this album over breakfast this morning

Growing up metal and punk were what brought me and my brother super close.
About 95 I moved more into rap music and he stayed more into punk, subsequently he has this ability to recommend songs that emotionally really get me and make me feel like he's in the room standing next to me.

This is one of them.
"Broke the tail, like a well oiled snail"

Love the heavy Roland D-5 usage.
Really good piece on the use of that song in movies and tv shows:

I still listen to the Dntel album of Enya remixes pretty often
