Could be wrong / just a hunch - something about that Kareem photo says that his involvement won't go further than this photo.

The team is atrocious. A couple of old Foundation/Emerica riders and some Hubba Wheels/JDM car models doesn't scream out longevity in a re-birth for a company that was originally based around style and some people that may potentially rob you. Rone was able to re-launch Axion better than Axion.

eS doesn’t even technically have a team or has that changed? I don’t think either has the money to pry skaters away from the big 3 or 4. So who else would they put on their team? Asking honestly. Axion is going to sink or swim like eS on a combo of nostalgia releases and new designs. They nailed imo the Guys and it remains to be seen for the rest. They’ve been around for 1 season so I think it’s a bit too early to render final judgment.

man es isnt what it was (mostly because of the team) but the shoes, theme and what ever else are more consistent

axions first fuck up was having sierra fellers, tancowny and merlino as an introduction... as much as i dont care for nick tucker using reemo, him , derick wilson woulda been a WAY better introduction and then adding others like tancowny (original axion team had dudes like ellington, gliffberg etc who werent that "urban" genre")

They commented on the dime x reebok shoe post something like "really, Reebok?". I was feeling kinda argumentative and replied that they looked better than the shit shoes they're dropping. Which is the fucking truth.

Then they responded something about how Reebok sucked because they sold to Walmart or some store like that, and there was this whole exchange with other ppl on the same thread where they ended up saying they were proud to be compared to Supra because they sold in high end boutiques or something like that. The whole thing made axion come off as classist and kinda shitty.
