Small company, quailty blanks, great pricing / shipping; really enjoying mine so far.

First I’m hearing about these, thanks for posting. I like boards with a mellow tail, like the mellow anpril/primitive 8.25. any chance you could measure the angle of the tail with your iPhone?

Stoked skate samples is shipping to custys again. Copped the 14" wheel base 8.25 to give it a shot, usually skate the 14.25 one. One of the last boards I got from them was unskateably warped, these ones are in good shape.

Not sure if this is the thread for clothing blanks but I went in on t-shirts from this place: https://www.blankshirts.com

Tried 6 different brands/models and landed on Bella/Canvas's 100% cotton 3001, sized up to XL and they shrink up nicely. If you're built like a real man or like a baggier fit Comfort Colors is the shit, just a little much for my girlish figure. Both are thick enough that the white tees don't showcase your nipples or chest hair and that's well important.

My nipples and chest hair are my finest attributes.

Got confirmation that the NO Comply shop decks are using HLC, they got a normal popsicle and a shovel shape, so if you have been wanting to try a HLC Blank without going through skate warehouse or whatever that’s an option, definitely not a blank but I consider a shop deck along the same lines

Are the logo shop decks like this, too? I just noticed the dimensions are different from the last time I bought a shop deck... curious about trying it out.

I believe the script ones are the same, although they may be only popsicles

This might be the wrong thread to ask in, but does anyone have recommendations for clothing screen print shops in NYC/NJ?

My buddy Drew is the best - Union Press Printing. He accommodates the NJ/NYC/Philly area and is a one man shop. Happy to pass along any info needed

Same. I think this is the first time I've had an HLC board after mostly BBS, DSM, and PS but this one has proven to be a good skateboard. Mine's one of their mellower 8.25 molds (M0137?) and at a month and a half old it's still going strong. This particular shop's graphics are really bland and uninspired but I like the wood.

yep. same here. never skated HLC prior to this. either dlx or BBS shop decks. i like it a lot. it's got some nice flex as well. flips, spins, pops, slides etc

hard up for cash after losing my job last week. so I bought a moose blank from tgm for like $30. shape/concave looks to be pretty decent. it’s the 8.0” 14”WB one. pretty mellow. still need to get some grip.

This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

I’m sure this has already been talked about in here but Prime Wood LA is still running their “Summer” sale. Two boards, grip and bearings for 60 usd plus tax and shipping, pretty wide variety of popsicles to choose from. They also have other shapes including World/Blind/101 reissues but those are a little pricier. I’ve skated their 8.75” and their 8.88” popsicles and they’re both dope

Op, you ok man? Being real here, you doin alright?

Their decks are great! Much better than they used to be (at 17 me and all my homies would snap ours in literal hours)
Grip is decent but not so grippy towards the end of the decks life
They forgot the bearings in my first order, in my second one they came with the black ones which the shields fell off of instantly, and then sent me some rush abec 9s to to make up for the ones they forgot. I’m saving those for my Xmas complete.
Overall pretty damn good deal.

How's the shape of their popsicle boards? Is it a taper, regular or full shape?

I guess they’re not new new but they came out last year advertised as new premium blanks with the orange ply in the center. I know the ones before that were absolute garbage so was hoping the “premium” name tag was legit on these ones

I’m skating one right now, and I like it.
Good pop, nice amount of concave.
Great deck for $40, especially if you want to experiment with sizes.

I just spent some time researching blanks from HLC looking for a twin tail/nose
From what I can tell, the new SW Permium are from HLC, which is actually fantastic!
