Quasi Beanie
Carhartt WIP Nimbus Pullover (Winter) | Brick Orange
Carhartt WIP Master Pant | Moody Blue
Nike SB X Gnarhunter Blazer Mid
[close]

Those pants are cool lookiní
[close]

The lighting is shitty in my office. They are a bit lighter and a cool shade of blue. They are also way nicer than dickies. Extremely soft and no permanent crease.
[close]

Planning on ditching dickies when they die...will have to try these ones for sure
[close]

They are typically $130ish. If you wait for the season end sales they usually drop down to $40 or so.
[close]
Wtf, That price is insane. In Europe itís 80Ä and I already think itís too expensive for a fairly simple twill pant, thatís why I got my pair on sale, like 40 or 50Ä, canít remember, which is a bit less than dickies actually.
[close]
Is WIP their European line? That would explain the mark up. They look nice, but I canít justify that price tag. I actually really like Dickies, they fit me right and I find them comfy. Plus, I can almost always find a pair in good condition at Goodwill for around $10.

wip was, afaik, started by a german dude under license in the mid/late 90s to sell carhartt stuff in street wear shops in europe. it's always crazy to hear how expensive it is in the us. i think it's been only a few years since they sell it in the us, right? at the same time, carhartt workwear was available to everyone in my country. before that you could only get some items at designated workwear/construction shops that usually only sell stuff to companies directly, so you could get most of it only if you actually worked in a carpentry, or a car repair shop, and ordered through their business accounts.

anyways, sounds like wip is finessing you us guys, sorry bout that.

Carhartt has a sale on now, those pants are $80! If my dickies were dead if get them for sure.

@Sk.A.T.A.N: WIP is their fashion brand...normal carhartt is proper work wear and is cheaper, WIP is their fashion brand which is different clothes altogether, albeit coming from the same baseline...prices are also fashion prices...most pants/jeans are about $150-$200 in kangaroo dollars

Yeah I know that. Just didnít expect to have such an increase in cost over seas. I checked the currency and itís almost 30Ä more on top of the European retail price.

Even 80 is high. I paid $40 on Black Friday. I donít buy wip at retail.

Carthart is the best. I spent most of my adult life as a logger and a concrete worker. I canít imagine what other gear would of worked in the conditions I have been subjected to. On the flip side the pants/shorts are perfect to skate in too, once broken in. Anyway, You fellas with the Carthart infused fits look dope.

Some very quality fits in this thread! I especially like untrippings, that's a sick jacket and the AJ1s look so good.

Ignore the messy room. Wife works from home out of the bedroom.

The Veil brewing beanie
Venue sign language hood
Cee Blues duck canvas pants
Crockett high

I feel like this one from the first page got overlooked too. I liked how you went full Crockett with this one. I've always wanted a pair of the pants he makes but haven't justified that price yet.

St. John's Bay comfort stretch chinos (I highly recommend these)

Yeah I went full Richmond. Passed through there a few months back on my way to the mountains for vacation. The veil is sick and makes some good beers, had to scoop the hoodie.  My daughter is deaf and we use sign language at home everyday so we always get hyped when sign language is on things you donít expect them on.

The pants I just scooped since his store wasnít open the day I went through. I was nervous not having tried them on first, not sure what size he wears or if heís smaller than me but these arenít as exaggerated on me as they come off on him.

The quality is on par with some other expensive handmade denim Iíve purchased. There is a very gently used denim pair on Depop I have my eye on for a good price.

Richmond is such a sick city, and it's especially nice that you have a story behind each item of clothing! My ex went to school there so I visited, got to check out a bunch of cool shops, including Venue, and see all the classic spots that Crockett and his friends always skate. I'm definitely looking forward to the day I can visit again.

I was also surprised to see that the Ceeblues pants are more fitted on you than they look on Crockett. I wonder if he just sizes up for the ones he wears? I also had to scope out that pair on depop you mentioned (just curious, no intention of actually buying them) and I think they're being sold by Brad Cromer...

But yes quality is up there. Iíd put them up against my 3sixteen or left field nyc for sure.
