Skated the worst park in Salt Lake City at 8am on a Sunday and it was fun being alone.

Going to Denver to watch the Broncos lose for my brothers 30th birthday and made sure the AirBnB is next to Denver Park. Fucking love that place.

Rain stopped for a few hours yesterday, and insane cyclone winds whipped through. This dried everything out quickly, but skating in gusting 20-30mph wind, changing directions every few seconds, was extremely difficult. Got a frontside slasher on the biggest wall though. Ankle is bruised from rolling it a few weeks ago, but it's feeling better. Lotta Theraband stretching has helped.

Skated my driveway in between rainstorms. I just set up my new Chris Roberts twin tail but I couldn't use it because of the weather. I had to use my rainy day board The one with the chipped nose and tail and the 60 mm wheels. I was surprised to be able to do all my flat ground tricks on that thing. I cracked it on a nollie backside heel flip, but not all the way through.

My local skatepark is flow based. I went full speed approaching the deep end corners, as a kid drops in right in my line and cuts me off. I started shouting at him getting pretty pissed.
I would've annihilated him had we run in to each other. I'm about 100 kg's (loosing weight though) and he was made of sticks..

Moral of the story, I am getting old..

Showed up to my Sunday spot, empty which is perfect. 10 minutes in another fella rolls up who I’ve seen once or twice, mentions 3-4 of his mates are gonna show up at some point. Went off to get water and these guys had arrived, typical Sunday session.

One of these guys pulled out a jump ramp from his car, gave that a try, couldn’t stick it.

Learned switch slappy nose slides and ended up with bleeding heels thanks to some new shoes.

Best halloween skate I’ve ever had

Did three stationary flat ground kick flips, took three laps without popping my board, attempted a no comply 180, didn’t land it, felt a strange drop in my blood sugar, complained about my job to a local, a freakishly talented guy casually did an NBD, I felt like I was going to pass out, got in my truck after a grand total of maybe half an hour, and drove home. Overall rating 3/10

Lots of leafs in the park. Went to the neighboring café and borrowed a broom. Swept the leafs to the side. Didn’t bother to get them out of there. Almost did a 360 flip.  Did land a couple of kick flips that felt pretty solid though.

Drove to a kinda deece park in a nearby town. Some cretins had smashed some bricks there. Picked up the bigger chunks and gave it a go, but didn’t stay long. Hit a super crusty diy spot and a middling crusty “park” on the way home  and finished up at my favorite curb. Oh, and saw a hobo fort made of 3 kickers and a space blanket.

It was raining and all indoor parks were closed on Sunday. Se me and my friends went to a parking garage got kicked out in 15 minutes. Then we went to another one which we got kicked out as well and then another and surprisingly got kicked out. Was out skating for 3 hours and got to skate for an hour. That was a shitty Sunday.

Last session was at the end of September. Had a sore throat before, sweated a bunch and got pneumonia. Spent nearly a month in bed at home, going back to work now but no sports for god knows how long... I guess the outdoor skateseason of 2021 is more or less over for me now.

Fucked around for a while and then decided to try and learn nollie nosegrind on a tiny curb, I've never done one and always wanted to.
Took about an hour and by the time I finally got one I was so frustrated and exhausted that I felt nothing but relief it was over, kind of a bummer.

Went to the park and it was really crowded. I've been plagued by injuries this summer. Including some really bad ankle shit. It was frustrating to be fucking up kickflips and bs180s but I got steady after about 45 min warm up. Had fun just cruising around and popping backside ollies and shit

As someone from a town with no good skateparks around, I don't skate transition often. Went to a newly opened indoor and after 1.5 years of putting it off I finally managed to drop in on a quarter. Also almost landed a heelflip out of a bank while I can barely scrape one together on flat so I'm gonna ride on this pink cloud for a while now.

did a varial heelflip first try, landed in a lil manual but put the front wheels on the ground instantly, thought it might have looked kinda steezy and it made me feel good. i used to suck at front shuv stuff but a homie told me to try his foot placement and they clicked instantly, then i got varial heelflips soon after but lost them 2 or 3 weeks ago when i switched to a new deck, but they’re coming back and i’m hyped.

First time skating last night after 2 months off for an ankle injury. One of those injuries that makes you worry it'll never be the same. Did 10 minutes of basic flat ground in a dark, wet parking lot by myself just to make sure it still works. It was fucking great.
