Thanks . Yeah I love Espo, I was super surprised to find it at a Salvation Army of all places. Over the years the designs been coming off, which is a bummer.

No mine is the same as yours, but I agree though it's my favorite lid they make. And as I said in my post the cup itself is the perfect size for my car cupholders which was a big draw.

Too on the nose lol but but my mom picked out mugs for the family so can't really blame her.

Decaf pour over black in the mornings, occasionally at night i'll add a spoon of ice cream or a little creamer.

right now it cups a nice dark beer.

I've never been particular about coffee mugs but I found this McDonalds Irish cream cup at a thrift store over the winter and fell in love with it. It is super weird to see McDonalds stuff that isn't red & yellow, and about a week before I got this my wife and I saw a turquoise and adobe McDonalds in Sedona, AZ and it blew my mind. It felt like a cool coincidence/synchronicity.

I also have a late 80s McD's mug I found in a thrift store from that same series

This is a great series I’ve never known about. I own VHS copies of Batman and Dances With Wolves because McDonalds was giving them out in the early nineties.. they used to have real product like that. Pretty rad.
