wasnt there an article within the last 3-4 years about how board prices were gonna stay in that $50-$60 range forever? Pandemic really fucked everything up

Makes sense. It was only a matter of time. Consumers have had a good run with buying skateboards for the last 20-30 years. No problem with paying up.

Just went into Labor and bought a Hockey board that wasnt released on the site, blue board and the graphic almost reminds me of a nod/tribute to Midsommar, and I paid $63 so I guess buying direct from the FA/Hockey site will run you a bit more

$200 for a board is insane. i would quit skating after snapping a board, straight up. imagine having to make life decisions at the skate shop "am i gonna eat for the next couple of weeks or am i gonna ration off and eat this free sticker that came with my board"
