Damn Marissa got banned fast
LOL.
no one really loves this place.
I’m beginning to think he really loves me too; can’t stop coming around & bringing me up.
But since he brought it up, here’s my take on the Big Mama pants, w/ the caveat that I have not tried a pair, personally, but will share what I heard from my friend who enjoys skating in them.
She describes them as really roomy & said they feel nice. She noted that the material & workmanship are quality too. Also, that the pockets really are a good deal larger than one traditionally finds on “lady-cut” pants.
She bought her 1st pair at the $80 price point & liked them enough to go back for another dip after the price fluctuation now known as “
the decimal point incident” had resolved itself & the price settled in at $100.
Now, speaking personally, I would not likely pay $100 for a pair of pants I’m going to fall down in, but $100 is a pretty reasonable price for a specialized pair of pants, made in Los Angeles.
Our fellow, er…
former poster above seems to think I have some beef w/ Ms. Martinez personally, which anybody familiar w/ the debacle that spawned this thread & its resulting contents knows, is not true.
Had
no one calicutter spent as much time researching my opinion, or prior statements as he did my choices of attire, he would know that my objection was, IN FACT, to the spontaneous 1,750% price hike for a product that had remained unchanged.
Marissa manufacturing pants & having a place at the table is great, and pricing products so you can pay your laborers a living wage is great.
Supporting small barands is great.
I like all of these things.
I certainly have no issue w/ Mama Skate selling $100 pants & wish her every success, despite what dear Robert would have you believe.
Hi Bobby.
See you next burner account, sweetie. 😘💋❤️
