Really hoping the trash talk on him is just hipster bullshit and he didn't actually do anything wrong, he's one of my all time favorite skaters.

Nothing's hes done is taking anything away from his skate legacy it's just now everyone is old so looking back he talked like he was the smartest/deepest thinking in all of skateboarding when he was just a regular guy. Plus how awful business and company's graphics and skits were didnt help.
His yeah right part is still maybe most perfect part of all time tho (at least top ten)

i work in education, but in america, so maybe this is different everywhere, but 6th and 7th graders do not touch even the building blocks of the quadratic formula. that's like junior year of high school shit

that's crazy pretty sure we had to have that down by 6th grade over here, 8th grade we start with analysis, simple functions and images, limits... not saying those kids are dumb, i think we almost had overload in school which made it hard to keep it all in your head afterwards. personally i think slower but steadier learning, at least for me, would have been better.
