It would’ve been way more interesting and memorable if he just filmed like every other filmer and threw some Alex G in there.  Maybe took out the clips of women and replaced them with b-roll of random architecture and the skaters high-fiving each other.  That’s the stuff that really stands the test of time and people talk about for years to come.

now that we're pretty deep into these strobeck/supreme productions, it's interesting to see how they cycle skaters in and out of the core group. used to be very sage/sean/tyshawn/kb/aidan heavy, then as the magic wore off with those guys they loop in the french guys, then the ny guys, then the trad skate industry guys like kader and rowan. they need to keep it fresh so now there is some atlantic drift guys, some milan guys. now it looks like strobeck is trying to recapture some of that original magic around seven/troy.

which ultimately makes the violet experiment kinda interesting because what's gonna happen in 5 years when whole team has too much facial hair and they're jaded with skating?

nah, saw a lot of insta stories of the locals hanging with the supreme crew. but I also expected that a potential local shop team would have been introduced.

Agreed.  Also:

Pretty good skating ruined by shitty filming.  He played Beatrice out by only using her for B-Roll footage.  Dutch angles are used to portray tension and I feel like I got a tension headache from watching this shit.  Glad to see Sage on a board though and the more Troy footage the better.
