I still think his Palasonic part was underrated. He's been so consistent for so long. Respect.

It is nuts how far Palace has come from a brand that emerged from Blueprint falling apart (I believe it started around when Blueprint bumped Chewey back to Am).
[close]

What? Did that actually happen?
[close]
I always love how Palace go on these like 2 to 4 week trips and they film a sick edit, and Brady almost always has a full part. His footage in Deeper Understanding, Betamaximum, NormCore and The Merchandise are on constantly on repeat. In each he has at least 2 minutes of footage off a short trip or so.

And, yes, when Blueprint started having financial problems in like 2009/2010 they bumped Chewey back to AM for some insane reason.

Don't remember chewy going back to am(not saying it didn't happen) I just remember him leaving for palace and Baines had an interview kinda talking shit about leaving for shitty small brands then within a year had also left blueprint for an even shittier even smaller brand.

Also did anyone else fall asleep during this? Not talking shit about the video I enjoyed it when I finally got thru it but the first two times I think the music knocked me out. It's like it was scientifically mixed to put my brain to sleep.

same.
the songs were also fading out way to quickly in my opinion.
palace always makes some questionable editing choices like looping tricks a few times or showing a clip twice but this just felt badly done.
kyle wilson part was insane. but i dont get what makes him so much more likeable than a robert neal who dresses and skates pretty similiar. is it the baggy pants and funny hats? the muska flips? not being cali? let me know.

heitor always so fun to watch. favorite on the team with lucas.
jamal needs to skate more. hes such a character but ever since hes pro he isnt showing anything of it to the public.
is it me or does it look like the louis vuitton shoes are completly limiting luciens skating?

Jamill is the black SP.

If by SP you mean Shawn Powers then i’d have to wholeheartedly disagree. The major difference is that for the whole of Jamal’s career we’ve been laughing with him, for the whole of Shawn’s career we’ve been laughing at him. Jamal’s always been super aware and forthcoming about his bag of tricks too.

Second time they've used a track from Interstellar, somebody over there must be a fan. Also, were Rory and Danny's songs not used very recently in other stuff? Somebody help jog my memory.

Proof you can zoom out and see / sell the fits for a brand like that.

I think I enjoyed Panasonic more due to more Jamal, Lucas, and lucian but thank god for the hd camera instead of the vhs.

And I watched this on YouTube. I don’t think ive seen a skate video with ads before. Weird.

Everyone harping on about Kyles part, and rightly so, he's steezy as fuck. But the lack of love for Charlie Birch is weird. It was the gnarliest part of the lot. If he was from the West Coast of America he'd be getting lionised like mad.

Relax Charlie, it’s not a lack of love at all it’s just that Kyle stood out on another level.

Liked it but the repeating clips were kinda weird plus i'm still not used to vans in palace footy. Grats to Kyle Wilson and Charlie Birch on the boards, well deserved.
