I released my 1st album today and I am happy about it. It's some mellow music mixing sample, live instrument, some voice here and there. Everything a bit twisted around. I tried to make something very comfy. Also I sampled Gilbert Crockett rough cut in the album.

^ (start at 5:00 IMHO) my most recent band, Tussin. We broke up in 2009, it's been a damn decade! We recorded at Dead Air Studios in Massachusetts, run by Will Killingsworth who was in those bands Orchid and Ampere and a zillion others

^ My high school band, Oh My God Elephant. Stupid "emo revival", before said genre became cool. I think we recorded this in 2005 or early 2006. The song is called "Rascal the Cat", named after the singer/guitarist Ray's old cat... he was a good ol' tabby

^ I got really stoned and convinced us to change our name to "Rainbow Tornado" for the full length. We recorded most of this when we all lived in SF for a little bit in late 2007-early 2008.

I have moved forward and make my own one man metal type of project in the vein of Xasthur and Zior. All analog and on 4 tracks, I hate sharing my music online as I know I get it I suck. Hopefully you guys won't be too harsh, I use to have a bandcamp haven't checked in a while.

What made you decide on the name?

Ummm not sure about the backstory of the name.

I was a fill in at first and eventually took over the creative drive we played shows in Gainesville and Ft Lauderdale but the contacts we had were sketchy and weren’t catching with the right crowd.

Sure we played with decent acts that had a similar sound. Just we didn’t get on with each other after everything was said and done. The drummer was a bmx PC kook who couldn’t handle our banter the guitar TJ he was a flake and tried to get me in compromising situations with other ladies. Andy the other guitarist was a weirdo, I was looking through his guitar bag for a cord or some shit, he had a composition book with songs and other random notes and well I stumbled across his weirdo hit list! I asked my wife like hey wtf have you heard about this? She’s like uhhhh yeah that’s been a known thing we just have accepted it. Now mind you I don’t know these guys and am an outsider at the time and older by a few years so at first it was weird to relate. Nothing ever happened and I am thankful that however like I said whenever I was going through some shit and needed a sober friend to help me, they’ll bailed like pussies.

I appreciate your invite and I would love to take you up on it however I am on my own and I’m not wanting to play a show with those guys.

I am siked on forming a new band with my wife and I making some racket. That way no outside influences just us and banging some shit together as a unit.
