Remember when Eric Koston and Leo Romero were trading pretty intense jabs at each other over social media and everyone was speculating that they had beef, and then it turns out they were cool and just joking with one another the whole time and that was just their way of kidding around?
Point being, different friend groups have their own ways of joking around and goofing off with one another. Some friend groups are super serious all the time, others are always cracking jokes at each other and giving each other zingers, others (like the Anti Hero dudes and the Piss Drunx back in the day) will get drunk and get into fights with one another and then be cool the next day as if nothing ever happened, it just depends on the crew.
You might view it as harsh but to Kelly and the rest of them that’s probably just their way of joking around and Kelly doesn’t seem to mind some zingers here n there. Let the crew be.
Also, I always thought he seemed douchey when I was younger.
My friend was telling me just recently that before nine club was a thing and we got to see how Kelly acts that he always thought Kelly was like this gangster dude just based of his skating and his video parts. He said he was surprised to find out just how big of a goober Kelly really is upon watching the nine club lol.
