Poetry thread

[Banned from the room]

I been organizing my old poems I thought a thread would be cool. Plz contribute if you like. I definitely would like to see what you got.

Who knows maybe in 10000 years when the next bunch of "advanced" Earthlings are excavating and cataloging the internet maybe the poems of slap will become some kind of historical book.

I wrote this in 2016 on LSD and dust. I imagined I was a slave to my tv. Was a matrix type of trip.

 

Forced Reality

Someone carry me away from here
I wish to be far far far away from here
Before I pass on
I brace for the drop

I launch after I drop

Reality I am Atlas

I can feel the spinal cuff

Crushing

When I practice free thought
Fiberoptic leads back up to the world I forgot

I'll try to forget it all I awaken

Replace my muddy bone marrow

Distraught

Unplug my sickened heart

Distraught

Replace my cancerous mind

My back hurts as I sit here
I have too many thoughts

You say it’s a gift I say well what is it worth

In my mind i know it could defly be worse

Muthas like me we gotta roll with the curse

Because these ideas they aren’t ain’t mine

I wrote some Haikus a while back when I was going through a bit of a tough time and couldn't sleep, some were skate related.

No idea if they are any good, but thinking them up really calmed me down.

It's a lot like your 20s

But everything hurts

Drove to the skatepark

Hyped for the session today

...Forgot my skateboard

Freedom to express yourself

...Then you land primo
