The best board I rode was a Evan Smith Grimple guest board.Perfect to me in terms of wb(14) and especially concave which was labelled IV.So last in the rox in the pressing I believe.
Do anyone know what DLX deck can I get with this concave?
Thanks!

Believe it’s still the same but all DLX boards are pressed in fours. I being the steepest and IV being the flattest. You’d probably be best served going to a shop and looking for decks with a IV on the top. Might not be a graphic you like but can probably find something in your size.
flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Well there's no AH in my shop...Tracking down on the web is not easy thing as not all products have a top side photo and very fews guys at shops are aware of those specs...
Yeah I knew 4 was the less steep.I really love it cause it ain't flat at all just the best compromised to me.Had a Kanfoush (I) and it was was wa too steep for me so I'd go III or IV.
I was wondering if the other BBS deck were labeled the same way or is it specific to DLX brands.

.

Just dlx. I've seen it from smaller shops like control and pennswood as well but I think I've been told that it's not the stack position for them but rather which press was used.

I dunno, some dude said so in another topic. The pile of four makes sense cause the lower you get, the less concave ou got by losing the shape of mold that is on top.

Yeah for dlx that's what it is. I'm saying don't make a mistake if you see the number stamps on boards from other shops, it doesn't mean that for them. You actually have to stack them up and see which is mellower.

B2 8.25 questions :

Tail length? I was reading different things.

How is it different from a alien / habitat shape (8.25)?
Or FA?
Or quasi?

Good pics here.

The 8.38 (which was actually 8.25 anyway) and the 8.5 Baker B2 decks I got were pretty long in the kicks.

Guessing that might work for you, but it might be as long as the Alien or pretty close to it.

* This one is better (forgot to add earlier):

https://www.skatedeluxe.com/en/p/baker-figgy-our-furry-friends-b2-8-25-skateboard-deck-yellow_p162545

width: 8.25"
length: 32"
wheelbase: 14.25"
nose: 7"
tail: 6.75"

high concave
B2 Shape
squared nose and tail

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I was in a shop last week and compared the 8.38 B2 to my normal BBS generic 8.38. Despite being labeled "steep" the kicks were medium at best and almost identical to the BBS. Both had a 14.38. The nose on the Baker was 1/16" longer as was the tail. It's more square than a normal Baker but I wouldn't call it square compared to a shovel nose PS. The Quasi 8.3735 I saw had about the same nose fullness.

Thx! What’s the quasi tail compared to the b2? Shorter?

Most of the Quasi PS boards have a ~6.6" tail. The DeKyser 8.38 I  skated a while back had a 6.625" tail.

Tactics says this 8.38 Baker B2 has a 6.75" tail, for what it's worth.

The 8.375 Quasi I looked at isn't the squared off one and the tail is 6.625 I think. The squared off one and lots of Quasi are 6.5 or even smaller.

Thanks. The quasi proto tail is small I think. Can’t remember anymore. The deck would be perfect for me if the tail would be longer.
So the other quasi have a longer tail? Then this could be for me

Quasi are confusing they have multiple shapes in a given dimension I have to literally look in real life to figure out which one is the one I like.
