honestly the whole austyn renovation isn’t a bad look. david and decenzo aren’t my cup of tea and don’t fit this new reshape of the brand but, they’re still jumping down big shit after all of these years in their mid 30s after gnarly injuries. it’s kinda sad to see them stripped of a shoe sponsor in an unforgivable time though, if you ever got the boot from globe at any point in the companies existence i’m sure it would’ve been flow program for the rest of your numbered days as a professional skateboarder. filament it is… wait are they still kind of around? okay… cariuma  :'(

it's an interesting theory but there's a reason austyn and dylan were able to popularise their style despite it being mostly frowned upon, I don't reckon decenzo could've made it work in the same way. ben nordberg couldn't manage to make it work either
