i dont think Dill ever went fully sober. maybe stopped hard drugs but he's always been smoking weed and whatnot. that being said, photos arent horrible, but they're just mediocre street snapshots and whatnot from what i've seen. haven't seen the whole book, but it looks more like a compilation of photos, not really curated in any meaningful way. i wish more people would print old photos, though. there's nothing like having something tangible.
