Krew reboot
« on: August 16, 2022, 06:00:32 PM »
So Krew is coming back with a vengeance and thrusting its way back into the forefront of skateboarding fashion. I, for one, am elated. I think I still have the basketball jersey somewhere.  One of the best clothing companies.

I’m excited to see what happens with the new Krew. The reboot is being done by the original founder, Angel Cabada, from what I can tell. Which is a great start. Seeing he did TSA before Krew, I can imagine they’re going to have some really sick pants. We all know how important pants are these days. I really am hoping for the best.

Still have a Krew hoodie in my normal rotation. It’s like 14 years old at this point and on its last leg but I’m getting my $50 worth.

I’d cop one if they dropped it again.

I don’t see why Penny wouldn’t be down.

Reynolds though? Money talks. I’m sure RVCA is paying him pretty well.

I was just thinking that.

The Super Slims were crazy, but the normal K Slims were not tight, then the next fit up which I preferred (just can't remember the name, but there are half dozen pairs in a box somewhere), pretty much a regular fit pair of jeans with stretch, but as you said, there were also the really big baggy ones too, which were huge compared to all the other slim stretch jeans on the market at the time.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

If you remember wearing Kr3w isn’t that a sign you’re too old to wear Kr3w the second time around

nothing's been the since same

I think before they had the k-slims etc type labels it was k01 to K10. I think k01 being the Greco, lizard King tight and k10 being the other end of the spectrum for grant Patterson, Wade desarmo and tom penny. Being taller I'd have to get the ones that were meant to be huge just so I could have some normal looking pants

maybe you can get away with some jeans but a 40 year old in the full zip up hoody is something we don't need.

I guess they are trying to bring tight pants back. If they wanted to make baggy pants they could resurrect tsa haha.

If they bring back the K-Slims I would get some a few sizes too big and rock them. These pants had the right amount of stretch.

Remember in 07 buying the Muska signature denim. I was going through a fit crisis at the time and thought painted on pants would be the fix. They were not.

The ellingtons jeans might have been the perfect slim/loose ratio and probably would hold up today as a medium, normal fit.
