I'm on the hunt for some fall pants, preferably regular slightly loose-fit jeans with stretch to them...something that won't have me having to Prod/TJ my pants up before a trick...

Thrift as much as I can, I like sturdy blanks and stuff I can repair and keep it going

Work pants anything 32 to 34 waist, cut to 38" total length
Dickies, Ben Davis, red kap, Carhartt, etc, sometimes I cuff em sometimes nah, sometimes chef pants

T shirts, sweatshirts/hoodies, button downs, hats, etc: Dickies, Carhartt, whatever, size large.

I have some old filson, Carhartt, champion, Patagonia etc fleeces and jackets

Some polyester tees and stuff, wool pants, waxed canvas, grundens, etc for skiing/shit weather

I cut all the logos off everything. Not tryna look like a fuckin billboard or some branded cattle

Which sucks cause I love Blazers and they got a big ass swoosh on the side lol. I cut a swoosh off mine, but the embroidery on the heel was too much of a pain in the ass to justify removing

Typical trendy kit.  Solid long sleeve button up. 1 pocket. Hat - sci-fi / Quatersnacks / random corduroy hat ( preferably smashed ) basic chinos 1.5 -2 inches short. Vans blackouts of some sort. For winter in az I might throw a hoodie for warm up but for lurking the kit involves corduroy jacket with the Fleece collar. Rust like color.  Levi’s 514 with the heavy cuff. Nike Dunk high. Trendy AF.  The more beat from skating the better so I skate in everything.

Usually whatever I can get for a decent price, skate brand clothing is £££ these days in the UK.

Still pretty much live in hoodies outside the summer months, so just bought a nice burgundy alltimers hood for the winter, it's a large that actually feels like one, which makes a change these days.

Carhartt stuff is looking appealing, I'm growing out of huge logos on stuff.

I almost exclusively skate in Levi 501s (non stretch) and Carhartt straight fit work pants - the baggy thing never worked for me. 32x32 since I was 17 lol.

I'm 6'1" and about 170lbs - typically wear size L band t-shirts / skate shirts / plain tees (comfort colors are my fav!) + a flannel (ll bean, 3sixteen, everlane, gap) or oxford (j crew, everlane) + hoodies + patagonia outerwear. Works for skating / living in Chicago / working in tech. Usually a cap - lately my traffic, gx1000, and sci fi fantasy ones are in rotation - carhartt beanie in the colder months. Vans slip ons / On Cloud Waterproof / nike blazer gt lows are in rotation depending on what im up to that day.

If I have to turn it up for a work meeting my goto "nice" outfit is an everlane oxford shirt, naked and famous straight jeans, and either red wing iron rangers (colder months) or common projects white sneakies (these would skate amazing if they weren't $400).

Today I'm wearing some loose but slightly cropped striped business pants. Black cashmere beanie. Black utility shirt. Feels ok. I started making crust pants to flip , no band patches, just diy fucked up layered and torn pants with no symbolism on them. Flipped a few but started wearing them and I'm liking it. I rock different stuff every day. But when I dress 'normal' I wear bombers, plain tees, 501/4's etc. I got skirts, mesh shirts, fishnets, denim and leather jackets whatever I just remember being like fuck it after a long normy phase where I wanted no attention after being an obvious punk but once lockdowns lifted I became inspired to look a little more out there again. Life is too short.

Levis 550 shorts and the Carhartt canvas rugged flex relaxed fit are 2 good shorts that are not as baggy as big boys but nicely loose, hit just above the knee, and are well priced.

I'm also on a plain colored t shirt kick lately. Not sure why but I often prefer no logos or graphics. I got some Merino T's from Taylor Stitch on sale that are extremely soft and never develop smells.

I'm having a sock crisis. All my socks are either too lose and get bunched up, or they're so tight they damn near cut off my circulation. What do?

^ diabetic socks but they're kinda like fishnets. I personally go no socks probably way more than I wear socks.

Got sick of spending a lot of money on good skate shirts that never fit so I have a bunch of cheap under armour shirts (not that tight plastic ones just like cotton shirts)that just have a little chest logo. Also probably in a few weeks I'll be back to only wearing soccer shorts while Australia melts in the heat until next winter

Out of work, either some grammici climbing pants or dickies, champion crew sweatshirt, t shirt, cap, half cabs, rainbow flip flops. MostlyThrift store shit

Got a job where I gotta look clean and long sleeved, so I've got a 3 pr pants, gap cords, express loose fit blue pants, and some patagucci pants. Got a few Pendleton flannels I've collected over the years.

Not sure about my winter coat for the year cuz my hemp hoodlamb parka is getting pretty janky after 9 years.

Shoes, some saucony low pro jazz, gray/green, I got for 6 bux bn at thrift shop.

Dickies shorts that are 18 years old and have had pockets and belt loops repaired many times. Band  t-hirt (non offensive if in work) or a skate brand t-shirt.  Either a band cap or a skate brand cap. Fucked Nike SB low dunks and stance socks (was them hidden ones from decathlon but thank fuck it's not over 35 degrees anymore here). Either a band hoodie or a skate brand hoodie at night. I haven't changed really since 93...

I've really been enjoying these shorts during really hot summer days, can't recommend them enough. Super light weight @ 5oz. Almost border on swim trunks, but hold their own enough that the pockets keep your phone in place well enough while skating: https://www.dickies.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-DickiesUS-Site/default/Product-Variation?pid=SR601&dwvar_SR601_color=BK

These are alright. If you want something a bit more hefty, but not too hefty. They say they're slim fit, but they're not. You can see in their pictures how they fit: https://www.dickies.com/shorts/dickies-skateboarding-slim-fit-shorts-11/WRSK94.html?dwvar_WRSK94_color=BK#start=1

I don't like these. Too hot/heavy for skating. 8.2oz of cotton is not a good time in the summer. Its sad because this model sort of replaced one of my old favorite shorts from Dickies: https://www.dickies.com/shorts/dickies-x-series-active-waist-shorts-11/XR832.html

In terms of long pants... Been skating in these and love them. Very lightweight and comfortable. Move with you, and don't get in the way. Not too baggy. Not swishy sounding. Wouldn't pay $90 for them, but definitely worth grabbing on sale. I'm an elastic waist convert due to these: https://shop.wkndbrand.com/collections/pants/products/loosies-pants-green-herringbone

I hate long sleeve shirts, but I was surprised by how comfortable this was... has a cozy cotton lining inside that feels shockingly nice... very well made for how cheap it is: https://www.tactics.com/spitfire/og-fireball-l-s-t-shirt/navy-red-yellow-orange

Anyone else got some good recommendations for shorts or warm weather long pants that aren't over-the-top baggy?

So short my junk hangs out if I sit down and spread my legs

Haha no, they are the standard work shorts..knee length. They last for ever and get super soft after a while. The pair I'm wearing right now I bought in 2004.

i wear a suit at work. just doing the stretch ralph lauren slacks, muji cotton socks, and I've got a bunch of mid shirts in rotation: 90's Banana Republic from my dad, random Macy's brands, Gitman, Ben Sherman. Hanes undershirts or Calvin tanks but I've been wearing any tshirt that isn't oversized lately now that it's been cooler. Rotate between Gravis Dylan suede driving shoes in black or navy (I had a lot of foresight to snatch those up ten years ago), a pair of black leather Bass Weejuns, nubuck low Docs, and a couple pairs of Clarks

Off duty if I'm not skating I've been collecting 550s - I've got a few that are too slim to skate. Just got some Pointer pants I'm stoked on. Limosine hat, skate shop hats, random hats people have given me. I had dreads for awhile so my beanie collection is stacked. Wool Carhartt's the best.

This is how I dress half the week because I'm either sore or injured from skating. Living by an Adidas clearance store also helps.

yeah since i started working from home my wardrobe consists of a rotation of adidas soccer shorts and random tees, kind of miss my preppy work fits but that’s about it from office life

Gravis Dylan suede driving shoes in black or navy (I had a lot of foresight to snatch those up ten years ago)
really glad i had the foresight to buy the gray ones way back, have worn them to every wedding i’ve attended for the past decade and probably will for the rest of my life

oh i gotta give a shout out to the carhartt loose fit tee in size small, my friend just gifted me one and it’s like my ideal fit, fits like a large but not boxy/billowy the way some larges are on me

Crusty dusty skate ace/Bronze/ftc/AH hat, cream or blank white t shirt or some skate company shirt, and either some thrifted baggy black pants, brown carhartt double knees, or one of my two pairs of levis 550s. Vans, Chucks, or LRAB's. I got on either the shittiest pair of Wal-Mart socks or some bombas depending on when I did laundry last. Random discounted luxury brand undies from a Burlington Coat Factory.

Now that it's getting cool outside I'll throw on my trusty grey or red button up, my gray sweater, or my Kelly green hoody. I have a lot of shit I need to get rid of, this is everything I wear put of the whole closet.

I used to really dress nice and cause I enjoyed looking better when I wasn’t at work. But now I basically wear what I skate in most the time. But I got family photos in October with the girlfriend and our son. Would love advice on how not to embarrass them in our photos. I was thinking navy chinos slim fit cause form fitting close look nicer if you aren’t skating. But idk what to wear for shirt or shoes. She’s wearing a brownish orange dress and he’s wearing jeans boots and a brownish burgundy flannel. I need suggestions from the style gods. I can wear my thorgood work boots. They aren’t too gross yet. But I was kinda just thinking a slip on? Cause idk and a grey sweater.

What's a good place to get blank t-shirts of varying colours? Not super boxy and trash quality, but not like Eddie Bauer overpriced either. In fact, their stitching is pretty dogshit for how expensive their clothes are. I do like the tall sizes, however.

lookup wholesale blank tshirt sites, there’s quite a few. i’ve used blankshirts.com before and it’s good. i recommend bayside tees, usa/union made and heavyweight, nice quality. comfort colors is good for blanks too.
