and believed that he would leave it all behind.

But then the Kid seemed to disappear,
and his absence caused confusion and fear.
Did he change his mind or suffer a fall?
No one knew, and no one could recall.

The nollie tre of the Heath hydrant,
remained a mystery, a feat that was absent.
Yet the Kid's courage and spirit lingered on,
an inspiration for skaters to push beyond.
