I got a pair of Gammas for $30 shipped off their site the other day. I couldn’t say no for that price, although I have a pair of KSL G6s ready to go, and a pair of six month old KSLs headed for the trash.

Which gammas? I need the new Julian’s to come out cause the old colorway has gone back up to retail since the stock is low . I wish they’d just make a g6 constant for like $10 more or whatever it costs them.

Snagged the Gammas for ~$25 before shipping. Fits true to size and the sock liner is nice and snug. Not loving the green logo patch on the tongue tho so if it doesn't grow on me, I'll cut that off

Skated these gammas probably 4 times before the sole separated. Pretty bummed even though i got it on sale but that soured me on soletech as of now

EmericaTM reached out to me and got it all taken care out. it was a manufacturing defect like another slapper mentioned so Im more than open to giving emerica another chance. Looking forward to trying the Gamma's again and just wanted to give a shout-out to soletech's customer service

I haven’t skated the Phocus yet but everyone has gone TTS in them so I’d say yes.

There’s been some negative feedback about the shoe in this thread.  Not trying to be a dick, just would want someone to tell me if I were in your position.  That said, if you’re dead set on trying the shoe, would love to know what you think, and if those early anecodotes about poor performance from the new soles, in comparison to pour in G6, proved true or not.

The more I see the phocus the more I like it. I just wish the toe cap was under the suede. Just a personal preference though.

Thanks, I've been following closely, but I still want to give it s shot.  At this point in the game, my number 1 priority is how it fits and feels.  KSL g6 is currently the best fitting shoe I have tried (other than the Accel og, but I just can't swing that one).

That’s true, and actually looking back on what they said, the feedback wasn’t as negative as I remember it being.  I think I was preconditioned to believe the new sole was inferior, and the more slippery-seeming material probably didn’t help that any.

Just ordered the phocus g6, liked the look of the grey ones and I really loved the Reynolds’s g6 and it sorta reminded me of it in a roundabout way. Guess we will see. I do love the wu gazi track in the edit.

Came shockingly fast, I’m on the east coast and the tracking initially said July 5th. Saw these on my doorstep when I got home from work.

Felt surprisingly great out the box. TTS. Light weight.
Not as grippy as my half cab skates and doesn’t seem quite as cushioned. Flick feels super good though. Got about an hour of flat today because I’m trying to break them in before vacation in a few weeks.

That’s true, and actually looking back on what they said, the feedback wasn’t as negative as I remember it being.  I think I was preconditioned to believe the new sole was inferior, and the more slippery-seeming material probably didn’t help that any.

An update, still don’t love that the sole isn’t as grippy as I like, flick feels good still but I do wish it had a little more cushion. For me personally I end up with sore feet on a long sesh. I got tired of the hassle of putting on half cab skates but I think after these I’m going back.

The Servold shoe sounds great but I believe Tim did specify in a reply on here somewhere that it was indeed changed to a vulc sole but with the same new tread pattern that's in the catalog that was posted? I could be completely.wrong and mixing up things but regardless the shoe looks unique non the less.

At this point I’m surprised the Dakota shoe hasn’t just been replaced with whatever shoe Hoban has been testing. Upper looks pretty much the same but with laces and I’m willing to bet the sole is the gonna either be what the Dakota was supposed to be on or whatever it ends up on.

It's frustrating if the Dakota is actually just a vulc sole but catalogs are going out that it's a cupsole. I get that if they changed construction last minute, it's a hassle, but this feels like false advertising.

Right now Im on G6 slipons cupsole, and this looks very similar. Once they are not available, it will either be the Dakota, or the new Figgy. Spanky G6 is great too, but Ive grown to not like laces at all, and they are a little bit big for me.

If it comes out on the vulc sole, its a no go for me, so hopefully they keep it like that. As of right now, Im stocking up the G6 slip cups, so Im good for a while.

Servold shoe from the summer 2024 catalog. Confirmed vulc. From what I've heard, emerica couldn't get enough accounts to preorder the servold with the new outsole to take the gamble on opening the tooling, considering it would have been a massive investment and sole tech can't afford any losses right now. Apparently the shoe was supposed to be dropped entirely, but was salvaged with a vulc sole instead.
