Dreams about Shoes or Boards

I just had a vivid dream that I was in a shop in Philly and they had a converse Chuck High x Blazer SB x 4Q conditioning shoe. It was a Pink Chuck high top base with a Blazer SB toe and swoosh on the outside, plus the dual tongue they’ve been doing on some of the deconstructed blazers lately, Chuck tongue over blazer. Then, around the foxing tape it was laser engraved in one spot with 4Q conditioning the same way Greco has been doing the Hammer boards.

There were also some deconstructed Janoskis and some crazy boards that I wanted to buy.

Has anyone else ever dreamt of a shoe or board or other product?

About every year or couple of years I'll dream about being at a shop and they have tons of shoes from the late 90s and early 2000s. I wake up as depressed as when I wake up from a dream where I found a bunch of money.

I have this dream sometimes as well. The last one, I was at ToysRus and they had a pile of sick vintage shoes. scored some Emerica Ellingtons for a penny.

When I went to Portland in 1998 there was a shop with a bunch of Etnies from 5 years before on saw for $20 each. I bought a pair for my friend but they didn’t have any in my size

Every once in a while I dream about the local skate shop I practically grew up at. I'll be driving or walking by and thinking "oh cool. Coliseum is back!" and have to pop in. I usually feel a little guilty in the dream because the shop had been reopened for some time, then bummed when I wake up because it's been closed for almost fifteen years

I daydream about being the ill homie who gets dunks backdoored to him from the shop. The GOOD homie.

No but I do think about how cool it would be if nice looking dunks were available on a regular and affordable basis.

Also I occasionally think about how if I started a shoe company, I would make mid top cupsoles.

Interesting thread. I've actually dreamed of two different shoes in the last year and woke up deciding I needed to try and draw them to remember them.

This first one I dreamed I was holding it in my hand and checking out all the little details then when I woke up I drew it. It had that logo on the side but I don't know what the logo is or means or what brand name the shoe was. The little logo on the side was raised black plastic.



Then just a couple months ago I had a dream about this shoe and it was a Marc Johnson X Village Psychic shoe but wasn't for any particular brand. I know the dudes from VP but have no idea how this idea made it into my dream so I drew the shoe when I got to work so I could send a picture to them. The little ovals on the side panel are sort of a raised pillow type look.



The actual colourway in the dream was black sole with white midsole then basically all the panels were black but the mesh was white.

I don't have the drawing skills but i may try and take a crack at what i dreamt. it was so crazy holding a shoe inn my hand in a dream and remembering it so clearly when i woke up.

nice tip! I will do that. Again, it was basically a blazer/chuck taylor hybrid so shouldn't be too hard...
