Remember front three shoves?
« on: June 16, 2023, 05:51:17 PM »
They were hot a minute a while back. Any instances of them appearing lately?

I tried to push those memories down into the depths with things I wish I could unsee.

This one from a few years ago.  At the 2 minute mark.

I thought it looked pretty cool, but I’m a total kook.

I'd much rather watch a front three shove than a laser flip.

Tricks alright. I prefer from biggie. Both should always be switch too.

Just feels better. Probably because the switch 80 turn over in a line era. That scoop is in my DNA now.

Nah, you are right, this one did look good. One of the few I'd say. Always enjoyed Nassim's skating. What happened to the dude, haven't seen him for a while.

Are front 3 shoves not okay because they're stupidly difficult or because most people who try them make them look stupid?

Switch is the only way I could do it decent. For some reason doing them in your normal stance is much more difficult.

Either I suck a big one or this is a humble brag. Only way I'm getting that much flat spin is off a ramp and at that point it's a throw and hope anyway.

First one that came to mind was Ali Mills in Useless Wooden Toys. He also does a fs kickflip, kinda rare for 1990

The most important thing I think about is lining up my heel of my shoe with the edge of my bloard toes off the other rail.
This way the grip will always be touching the sole of your shoe for the full rotation. Bother become more of a front foot trick for me.

My back foot just pops and passes the bolts forward to my other foot. And I 80 or I wait for full 360 and push it down .

I like to lift my toes up in my shoe for extra pop.

You gotta fight it.

You only supposed to kick it forward lightning fast. Heel clickers are doing too much.

I tend to do it on switch flips for some reason.

Front 360 shoves seem like a very awkward trick to power out. I can’t really wrap my head around how they work. I used to have pretty good bs ones that actually popped.

Don't be a clown dude. Front three shoves are a legitimate trick not like all those no comply variations we had a few years back

Crob's switch one out of manual was always overshadowed by his switch kicky manny in my eyes, both at the LA courthouse stage in Hot Chocolate Tour. As for a modern day version I'm lost tbh.

Np pal. I hope it works. I have trouble explaining stuff. The heel line up is sound tho.
