That is… until Chad Muska unleashes his Muska shoes on the world and ushers in a new world domination and big shoe resurgence, with the Skytop 1 REDUX leading the way.

And then Jamie and Muska team up again, and call up Appleyard and Lopez, rebirth C1rca to thunderous applause.  But not before the new leadership at Soletech surprises us all and delivers quality skate shoes that rival Nike and NB, that eat into their profits, forcing the giants to reconsider their investment in skateboarding.

And then out of nowhere we have Dekline show up, pull a Leeroy Jenkins and third-party-candidate the fuck out of everything, and we’re back full circle… raising our hands to the sky for Nike and NB to come back and save us.

But truth be told, Etnies was there all along with the Joslins, always there bestowing on us the best damn skate shoe ever. And it welcomes us all home with open arms into skate heaven at the end of THPS 2. Amen.

Only just occurred to me, but didn’t that Michaël Mackrodt homey already do Warsaw w/ his skater owned, mostly logo free, higher end materials, “wear them to work OR the session” line of shoes (at the same price point, more or less) with his footwear company, Fishing Lines?!?
