The Bushings rabbit hole
« on: July 27, 2023, 09:21:25 AM »
I recently entered the bushings rabbit hole when I realized that changing bushings might make your board feel like you actually swapped your trucks. Completely different turn for the same truck when switching from cylindric og Ace (mediums?) to conical Bones (hard).  (Only to end up with a combi of Thunder bushings. Probably because shapewise they are right in between and felt like the best paradox of both: agile, but stable.)

So the big questions are:

Stock or aftermarket? (What hardness do have stock bushings anyway?)
Barrel or conical or in between?
Hard, soft, medium? Or true duro?
Combinations of different hardness for bottom and top? Better softer top and harder bottom? Or the other way around?
Which are the best? What is the best? For which truck? Or no bushings at all?

Who of you rocks what and why?
