recent issue with youtube not embedding (sorry!)

sorry to make a new thread about this, but what is going on with the recent issues with youtube links not embedding??? I've seen quite a few people have issues with this out of nowhere. I have tried to grab every possible link from the video; the link address that appears in your browser, and the link that is generated after you click the share button. I've tried on both the web and mobile and nothing seems to be working.

did youtube change the way their links display or generate? this is starting to get exceptionally frustrating. I can't remember what thread it was in but someone mentioned removing everything after the question mark... ?

Using Yuto's latest part as an example.

If you just copy and paste a youtube link it might look something like this:

Link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW9OABECQkU&t=13s

To embed, take out everything after the "&" sign as well as the "s" after "http."

"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW9OABECQkU&t=13s"

becomes

Link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW9OABECQkU

Note: The "preview" button on the "post message" page doesn't work. If you can't get the preview to load, that's okay. Just hit "post" and if you've taken out the "s" and the extemporaneous stuff after the "&" sign in the video link you are golden.
