Mike Arnold is on lol. I like a lot more than king...

team's coming together nicely if true
Woah didn’t except that move. But on the other hand Isle seems to be pretty much hibernating so I don’t blame Mike for taking a chance.
I still don’t really get Edglrd though.

Olson never had a creepy child bride

I went into a rabbit hole looking into this, and now I plan on watching Spring Breakers tonight since "it ranks in BBC's 100 Greatest Films of the 21st Century."

The age difference of 13 years is a bit crazy. 32 and 19 is a wild gap to get married at.
Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.

I think they started dating at an age where not all states would have been cool with it

It's so fucking bad. I saw that shit at the Arclight with a Harmony intro and that didn't help. Just empty headed garbage filled with jerk off stunt acting. The Beach Bum is just as pointless and dumb.

Looks like that dude Jace from South Florida, who did the Miami leap of faith, is on as well. Honestly it’s a pretty sick team and I won’t be bummed if they all drop some good footage. As long as the filming is decent and there no wild AI or special effects for the skate clips.

Yeah I won’t be surprised if it’s completely ruined by AI and bad music. I’m still hoping for the best.

I really hope Mike isn’t on but then again, Isle did that big announcement that they relaunched and then haven’t done much since so I don’t blame him if he left. I vaguely remember an interview where it seemed like Mike was initially hesitant at first to rejoin Isle but ultimately did and it’s probably because he was precisely afraid this would happen.

Sean pablo just posted a photo on his story with mike holding a board and wearing a t.

looks like isle hasnt dropped boards since July last year or really been that active. Idk why youd relaunch only to just be inactive again like before

As much as I absolutely hate the idea of EdgLrd, and to a greater extreme, the idea of Mike Arnold skating for them... I can't say I blame him for dipping out on Isle. If I were sponsored (especially pro) and my board sponsor had done fuckall after announcing a "relaunch" over a year ago, I'd be pretty fuckin' keen on finding a new home, too.

If only Atlantic Drift skateboards had come to fruition...

For me, it's not as observed or lived in as Kids is, which I think definitely captured a subculture about as close you can get. Larry's AIDS subplot aside, as I understand it, those actors were playing at least a version of their own personas and it reads as authentic, even if it was strictly scripted. Spring Breakers is more an idealized version of what you'd like your life to be, where everything is life and death and cartoonishly amplified. I get more Saints Row IV than GTA IV. I will say that some of the aesthetic choices are pretty indelible. I'm convinced nearly every thot on the planet has taken a pic in a bikini and a ski mask.
them cats are out getting mashed up to jungle, he's out mashing up jungle cats. it's just not gonna work.
