Nah my buddy Robby built that ledge by himself with an orange vest. Just barged it with his pick up. It's to the side of the Burlington Coat Factory off the 35 by the HEB on William Cannon if you wanted to skate it. Jesus that was an Austin ass sentence.

wow this was dope as fuck. good presentation and detail. i get that some people don't like the self-hating vibe but i don't mind it, a lot of skaters think the same way plus i'm watching this to hear figgy's actual commentary not some fake happy take on his life.

i definitely get the sense that some of the self-hate is coming from imposter syndrome being around skaters like milton, grant, jackson, wes. and to be honest some of it isn't imposter syndrome but you also can't blame figgy. the skaters he's around are freakishly talented, one in a million. figgy has the experience but is just not on that otherworldly level of skill

I really like his overall approach on this. since its his channel and his career is slowing down he can really call out shit for what it is. i'd love to hear more about his involvement with AYC and how that fell out.

will definitely watch the next one.

That was fucking great. Such a refreshingly different vibe from most of the "youtubers".

I enjoy many of the youtube dudes, despite their cringe factor for the same reason I enjoy Slap despite its toxicity: because they're skate rats first and foremost and they're crazily obsessed with this silly activity just like I am.

But Figgy seems more like the dudes I've actually skated with over the years, and there's definitely room for someone to finally push beyond the current youtube "what's up guys!" formula.
