Skating Steep Bank Curbs

Anyone have any tips for skating these? I presume you approach it similar to a slappy?

ahh, bs 5-o's to fakie feel good on this thing. can't wait to go back.
i don't really have a tip. just jam on it. lean on in it and stay centered above your board once you lock in at the edge with your truck(s)

Ahhh, those are my favorite type of spots. And same, BS 5.0 to fakie is my go-to on those and it feels so good.

As a Euro starting skating in 2000, I skated this way before learning slappies.

It feels like you have to be more gentle than just bashing a curb. I see it more as skating a steep transition and usually approach with a slight angle to kinda carve/wallride my way up to the edge and avoid losing speed running straight into the bank
