do you guys really think that his dad had anything to do with his being sponsored? if that's the case, then why isn't lance jr pro for girl right now? LA is full of enough old burn out pro dudes from the 70's, i doubt that any of alex's sponsors got that wet about his dad being steve olson. to make a claim like "he owes his whole career to his dad" or whatever is a pretty big claim. it's cool that they can give eachother shit and all that, but...wait.
i don't want this to be another "slap message board debate on fatherhood" thing, so i'll just say that alex is a sick skater that can stand on his own without his dad. it's naive to think otherwise.
