I’d love to kick back and drink a beer watching Strobeck try to justify hanging out with early 20’s kids

Lets get a Kasper Ep going, that should be pretty interesting. Rollerblading, Benihanas, flying to a demo in a helicopter, jumping over a DJ for a bail in a very big video, Using 5 snip-its from songs in one part, Kasperholics.com. I just wanna know!

natas
gonz
rocco
blender
duane
chief
julien
sheffey
daniel harold sturt

i know some of those are obvious picks & a lot of them might not be interested in doing an episode. they would be great though just as long as you had the right people talking and didn’t refrain from touching on all of the controversies with some (rocco, jt & duane). i know a lot of people will hate on this idea but, rodney could actually be a really good one too.

Daniel Harold Sturt would be a banger. Was like the most prominent photographer in the 2000s and was known for being eccentric, and just kind of disappeared. A whole generation has passed that doesn’t know who he is.
if post- retirement duke nukem bagged that azz i have a chance too

If you're in L.A., looks like they're screening the first episode at Brain Dead on Fairfax on Friday.

Glad they are rebooting Epicly later'd!  I don't recommend Burgers She Wrote at all. I went there at like 3 or 4 pm on a Sunday and it took 45 minutes to get a burger that was slightly larger than a slider and cost 9 bucks. They only make burgers and fries. 45 minutes. One burger.

I'd love to see an episode on Chris Carter and Mike Hill.  I can already see it now.

"...filmed at an undisclosed location..."

I could definitely see them both using voice modulators and shadows to maintain secrecy like the guy below.

Never forget:
Rusty_Berrings, 360 frip, Yapple Dapple, Bubblegum Tate, Marc Johnson

I’d really like to see ones on Matt Hensley, Neil Blender, Julien Stranger/Anti-Hero, Rick Howard, Dane Brady, Ronnie Sandoval, and a follow up episode on Jerry Hsu.

Blender is wishful thinking, at best....

Ronnie could be rad, dude's had a pretty stacked career for being pretty young still. Seems like a genuine guy too.

McCrank? Andrew Allen? No wait, Gravette!

I think the more interesting North American stories have been told already, with all the important movements covered (except an episode about early Zoo). I’d say it’s time to focus on some international stories: Rodrigo TX, Lucas Puig, FESN, Soy Panday, Pontus Alv.

…or throw a complete curveball and make a Spirit Quest episode.

Jake Johnson.
Not only could they get into his story but also it could get into the making of Mindfield, its reception, the death of Alien Workshop, and the birth of Quasi.
I’d definitely want it to be a longer/deep dive episode.

They could also ask him about the “indoor skydiving and jetpack zone” he wanted to build. Could have been pretty dope tbh
he said our technology is not as advanced as it needs to be for him to have an indoor jetpack zone. Yet. He was getting all that Gravis money, but never got the jetpack business off the ground. One day hopefully

Pontus episode would actually be really interesting. That man has experienced a lot: from Sweden to US, Mad Circle, back to Europe, Cliché, his indy skatefilms (The Strongest of The Strange, In Search of The Miraculous), the whole Nordic diy-scene, the birth of Polar, Last Resort…
Also he just is quite a personality.

I love that I remember you posting about this Jake lore before. Also that he apparently specified it had to be indoor as if the air indoors or outside makes a difference to jet packs

Hot take: Jake is my favorite skateboarder ever, but I think a JJ episode of Epicly Laterd would expose him as a huge dork. The same way Koston looked like a massive kook when the Berrics started.

+1 for Mike Daher, and I wish his brother George would be there, too

Really cool that Rodney Smith is on this week's Nine Club. An EL'd on Shut including Barker and Sheffey, and if at all possible, Coco, would be really neat.

Actually, one on Sheffey would be really peachy.
