I have this camera and it looks nice and there's some skateboard footage I've seen about it on youtube .

I like it so far, but I'm still figuring out the ins and outs of it. 

Idk if anyone else has one or uses it - but I didn't see anything about this and i'd like to have a discussion or at least some emotional support .

I looked at this camera for a while a few months ago. It's definitely interesting.

It looks cool with a Meike 3.5mm fish for 4:3 footage:



I think cameras from this era are held back a little by Sony's codec at the time, which is maybe a little soft. But probably a good starter cam.

A later model, The Nex-vg30 added a zoom rocker that works with some of the Sony power zoom lenses. Spencer Semien has a whole part filmed on one:

Here's a picture of mine. I do have the 18-22 but I also have 16f 28 wide angle with ecu1 fisheye. Those are in the picture.

Yeah I have to manually zoom and i don't mind it. But it's not convenient

Sick, post some clips if you get out into the streets with it! I've always been curious about it. I've been curious how it does in low light with a fish.
