Who thought giving him the mic rambling about fake deep thoughts about traveling was a good idea? Skating was sick tho. He definitely tried out some different spot approaches in this one. Some worked better than others but at least he's exploring a bit.

Now he kinda reminds me of a cross between that "doobie" guy on anti hero and austyn gillette, especially with all that talking.

Agree, I felt like the part shouldve been like half as long tbh.

Would have been better with less filler and a more aggressive song imo

He def had the bangers to make something rad here, but all the filler and talking just took away from it.

Man.. as I get older I want to do my best to appreciate peoples’ creative ventures, but the entire intro to that soured the whole rest of the part and I’m a fan of Dakota. I felt like i was drowning in broll and a skate narrative that’s been beaten to death through 30 years of video.

Thought it was great. And I thought the voice overs went well with the tricks selected for them. That first 5050 on that roller coaster rail that looks like it’s from 1943 was insane

I got about 2 minutes in before shuttin' er down. Came back and finished over lunch. Star head body vibes. I know it feels rad but Im good on it. Foundation team 20 years ago did the same things but just put out there clips to some rock and roll. Pants were tighter too and they didn't cuff them

Pretty standard format really...

Skaters talking before their parts never make them look like the smartest people in the world but it helped give the whole video some secondary substance and puts some personality towards it all. Its gonna come off a little cheesy. I thought overall it was a good watch and had no trouble watching it all the way through without feeling to roll my eyes or scrub through and frankly better than i expected from what we usually get from Dakota (180s, kickflips, and melon grabs over bump to bars in any combination of those variables *bs 180 melon, kickflip melon, backside flip*) over said bump to bar...
