Hey Y'all,

Me and some friends recently bought a Sony HDR-FX1e. It's like a 1080p mini dv cam. We tried it out the other day and the long lens footage looks quite nice. However the fisheye footage looks very grainy, and non HD. We are currently using a reinox fisheye, and we are wondering if we're doing something wrong setting wise, or if we should buy a different fisheye. We don't have budget to buy like a Century Optics, or Opteka fisheye, so we are wondering how much of a difference that actually can make.

If you have any experience with a similar camera and have tried multiple fisheye lenses, please let me know!
:)
